Energy management and dc bus voltage stabilization in a HRES based DC microgrid using HESS

چکیده

This paper proposes a control strategy with stability analysis for hybrid energy storage system (HESS) in DC microgrid (DCMG) consisting of renewable sources (HRESs). The proposed effectively regulates bus voltage (DBV), maintains balance demand-generation and improves the power quality by flattening intermittency PV generation. configuration harnesses advantage both battery (BESS) supercapacitor (SC) (SCESS) HESS through their effective utilization as per densities. A filtration-based (FBC) has been using PI controllers to generate reference signals inherent internal characteristics BESS SCESS. efficacy is analyzed simulations Simscape? module MATLAB? software. results are further validated FPGA-based real-time simulator Opal-RT.
